What you'll do

As an Engineering Manager at Bambuser, you are a part of the product development being the "spider in the web", coordinating and managing teams, individuals and deliveries in order to create the best customer value possible. 

We value

  • 3+ years of relevant people management experience, and it's ups and downs
  • When someone is being proactive and anticipate/handle most issues before they blow up.
  • Great project management skills in planning work, meeting deadlines with stakeholders and coordinating efforts across the organization
  • Curiosity and especially in relation to the technologies your team works with, striving to keep your technical knowledge sharp — but you should also feel comfortable knowing your greatest impact won't be as a technical contributor.
  • Knowing how to build successful teams and how to inspire others to improve.
  • Effectivity while collaborating with peers both within your team and across the organization.
  • Placing tremendous value on good communication and appreciate async- and remote-friendly working practices. Knowing how to pick the right communication tool for the problem at hand (chat, video, email, etc.).
  • A good understanding of software development processes such as Agile.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience within retail and/or e-commerce
